Barbara grew up in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from James Madison High School, received her BA in Dance from CUNY and her Master's in Arts Administration from Adelphi University. She is married and has 2 grown daughter's. Her daughter Zoe graduated from University of Tennessee - Knoxville (GO VOLS) and her daughter Alex graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Barbara has lived in Williamsburg for the past 26 years, where she and her husband and their two Golden Retrievers still reside.
Barbara has been active in Temple Beth El serving as a past President.
She has participated in fundraising for many area groups including local dance companies, Kidsburg, United Way and more.
